Heather Wilga

Heather Wilga is originally from Bay City, MI and has been living in the South for the past 18 years. She began her medical career as a CNA after training at the Academy of Allied Health Careers in 1995. She continued her education at Northwestern College’s School of Nursing in Rock Springs, GA and graduated in 2000. She has been employed as a nurse at Erlanger Medical Center from 1996 to the present day, working in general surgery, trauma, pediatrics, neonatal ICU, and pulmonology. She has also worked as a home health nurse.

In 2007, Ms. Wilga purchased the Academy of Allied Health with 100% membership interest obtained in 2009. Her nursing career and experience teaching at the Academy has given her the knowledge needed to design and implement the current curriculums for AAHC courses. Heather’s mission and goal for the Academy is to make sure that anyone who wishes to achieve a higher level of education has the ability to do so.

Linda Moore

I was born in Chattanooga but travelled extensively both stateside and abroad with my father and later with my husband while both served in the United States Army. I attended Chattanooga State College, Memorial Hospital EKG program, and advanced EKG & AMT studies at DelMar Avionics, Irvine, CA. I am currently employed with the Cardiovascular Group at the Chattanooga Heart Institute and the Academy of Allied Health Careers.

Lisa Lee

Hello, my name is Lisa D. Lee. I am an LPN with an Associate of Science degree. I have been nursing since 1997. I obtained my credentials from CSTCC. I have worked as a med-surg floor nurse and in the NICU at Erlanger. I gained a lot of experience during this time. I am at ABVR and work closely with geriatric Alzheimer residents. I have been teaching phlebotomy at the AAHC for several years now, and I enjoy it greatly. Success is an achievable goal, if desired, which I have been blessed to be capable to help others to obtain.

Tessa Quinn

Tessa Quinn completed her Clinical Medical Assistant and Medical Administrative Assistant certifications at The Academy of Allied Health Careers in Chattanooga, TN and her Limited X-ray Technician License at RES in Nashville, TN. She has more than 15 years of experience in the medical industry in various fields, including pulmonology, pain management, and Durable Medical Equipment.

Tonarra Clark

Clinical Coordinator

Tonarra Clark is a native of Chattanooga, TN and has gained an extensive background while working in the medical field for more than 18 years. She is a Certified Medical Insurance Billing Specialist and currently functions in capacity as the Billing and Coding Instructor / Clinical Coordinator for the Academy of Allied Health Careers. She is currently pursuing her degree in Human Ecology. She is the business owner and operator of Baskets of Love. She also serves as a board member for several local organizations here in Chattanooga. She has a strong desire to impact and inspire the lives of young women in the community. Tonarra honestly believes that one of the best choices she could have made was choosing to become a Certified Medical Insurance Billing Specialist because it has allowed her opportunities to have a “productive career” with numerous advantages, resulting in great success.
